Michael J. Gelb — Executive Leadership Coach

Michael J. Gelb is a pioneering practitioner and thought leader in the fields of creative thinking, executive coaching and innovative leadership. Michael guides clients to create and evolve conscious cultures that foster innovation and promote human flourishing. As one client observed Michael is a “One Man World-Class Leadership Development University.” He has served as an executive leadership coach and consultant to AT&T, DuPont, Genentech, KPMG, Merck, Microsoft, Nike, YPO and many others.

Michael is the author of 17 books including How to Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci, The Art of Connection, Mastering the Art of Public Speaking and The Healing Organization, co-authored with Raj Sisodia. Michael’s books have been translated into 25 languages and have sold more than one million copies. In 2003 Michael received a Batten Fellowship in Innovation from The University of Virginia and co-directed the acclaimed Leading Innovation Seminar at the Darden Graduate School of Business for more than 10 years. In 2020 he became a Senior Fellow at the Center for Humanistic Management and a member of the Leading People and Organizations Advisory Board at Fordham’s Gabelli School.

Michael is a master teacher of the Alexander Technique, a 5th degree black belt in Aikido and a gifted teacher of qigong and tai chi. He is also a professional juggler who has performed with the Rolling Stones.
