She is a Master Certified Coach, the top designation granted by the International Coaching Federation. Prior to becoming a professional coach Karen enjoyed a successful corporate career in marketing and advertising.
Karen received her MBA from the Ivey School of Business and her BA in Economics from Western University. She completed coach training from two of the leading accredited programs and has taught and built curriculum for both programs. She is a Certified Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, has a certificate in Applied Positive Psychology, has studied the neuroscience foundations of coaching and is a licenses mindfulness trainer.
Karen is the author of "The Accidental Alpha Woman: The Guide to Thriving When Life Feels Overwhelming" and "The Complete Executive: The 10-Step System for Great Leadership Performance."
She is a nationally published columnist, a frequent contributor to various media, and a sought-after keynote speaker. She serves on the Board of Coaching for Everyone, an organization committed to democratizing access to both coach training and coaching services.
