Ben Olds is a Managing Partner and Coaching Practice Lead at HAVEN where he specializes in executive coaching, as well as training leaders on coaching skills, comfortably approaching difficult conversations, and other leadership development topics. He is passionate about helping leaders realize the best version of themselves. His clients appreciate his direct communication style, his sincere investment in their self exploration, his linear structured mind, and his positive sense of humor.
Ben started his career at Bain & Company where he consulted to Fortune 500 companies in a wide variety of industries. While there, he built expertise in organizational and leadership development. After Bain, Ben joined Monitor Group to lead North American talent management and internal coaching. His role quickly expanded to include spearheading all culture development activities for Monitor headquarters and training and development nationwide. Ben left Monitor to become an internal coach and leadership development advisor, and then the head of HR, for a public biotech company in Cambridge. After helping it double in size, he decided to return to leadership development full time, helping to create HAVEN.
Ben’s training and certifications include: The Coaches Training Institute, Certified Professional Co Active Coach (CPCC), Action Design Systems Dynamics, Immunity to Change Facilitator, Leadership Versatility Index Administrator, Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
He holds a BA in Economics from Hobart College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management focused on strategy and organizational development.
